[Hanoi News] On September 18, the groundbreaking ceremony for renovation work at Xingte Technology (Vietnam)’s expanded factory in Yen Phong, Bac Ninh, was successfully held. As a wholly-owned overseas subsidiary of Shenzhen Xingte Technology Co., Ltd., the expanded-factory project has entered its substantive construction phase. Representing a key milestone in the company’s globalisation strategy, this marks the formal establishment of Xingte’s local Southeast-Asian system for manufacturing, supporting services and technical support, further consolidating its competitive edge in overseas smart manufacturing.
Covering an area of over 4 000 m², the new expanded plant fully inherits the parent company’s mature production processes and rigorous quality-control systems. It focuses on three core businesses: precision winding equipment, high-precision component machining, and custom flexible automatic production lines. Serving diverse sectors including automotive components, robotics, UAVs, 3C electronics, magnetic components and smart home appliances, the facility effectively fills gaps in the high-end smart-manufacturing supply chain across Southeast Asia and fuels regional industrial upgrading.
1. Precision Component Machining: Micron-level Quality Control as a Core Differentiator
Precision component machining constitutes the core competitive strength of the Vietnam base. The new plant will be equipped with nearly one-hundred high-precision processing machines such as five-axis CNC machines and precision grinders. Top-tier inspection instruments including a Hexagon coordinate-measuring machine (0.001 mm accuracy) will be deployed to build a micron-grade quality-control system capable of stable tolerance control at ±0.01 mm.
It addresses machining challenges for thin-wall parts, complex curved surfaces and high-strength alloys, delivering finished parts with superior accuracy and consistency. Localised capacity enables in-house supply of core components for Xingte’s own equipment. Meanwhile, it provides custom-made precision-component services for Southeast-Asian clients in robotics, UAVs and automotive electronics, filling regional gaps in high-end supporting capabilities.
2. Precision Winding Equipment: Large-scale Production with High Precision
The new Vietnamese factory will mass-produce core equipment including eight-axis precision winding machines, toroidal-inductor winding machines, wireless-charging-coil winding machines and voice-coil winding machines. Fitted with high-precision servo control systems, these machines deliver stable operation and high yield rates. They efficiently manufacture precision-processed magnetic components such as inductors, voice coils, transformers and instrument transformers, fully catering to end-product manufacturing requirements from 3C electronics, automotive electronics and smart-wearable devices.
3. Custom Flexible Automation: Empowering Customers with Turn-key Custom Lines
The Xingte Vietnam smart-manufacturing base delivers custom turn-key solutions for flexible automated production lines. Its scope covers automatic assembly lines for UAV gimbal motors, robot joint modules / robot bodies, brushless-motor stators and rotors, automotive precision assemblies and smart small home appliances.
Tailored to the Southeast-Asian manufacturing landscape characterised by multiple product variants, small-batch orders and rapid iteration, the modular flexible design swiftly adapts to customers’ personalised process and capacity requirements, helping manufacturers improve product quality, boost efficiency and cut operating costs.
Upon completion and commissioning, leveraging local production, on-site maintenance and proximity-based services, the new factory will greatly shorten supply-chain lead-times and reduce overall customer costs.
